What printed

· Bitcoin traded under $80,000 on Saturday. Le Coin Markets tracked the first mid-October break under that level, the long-heavy liquidation window that day, and ether's liquidations looking large relative to its market capitalization. Overnight into Sunday, Le Coin also re-read two Hyperliquid ether-long accounts with public liquidation prices near $2,178 and $2,182. [4]

· The Bank of Israel and 109 economists pushed back on a crypto sanctions idea ahead of Israel's vote. Coverage this weekend reported the central bank's reply that crypto cannot bypass sanctions, and a letter from 109 economists and former officials criticizing the workaround idea, with Israel voting Tuesday, Oct. 27. [5]

· South Korea's presidential office said a further crypto-tax delay is under review. Reporting cited by Le Coin says nothing has been decided; a National Assembly bill would move the virtual-asset income-tax start from Jan. 1, 2027 to Jan. 1, 2029, and the legal start remains Jan. 1, 2027 until the statute changes. [5]

· Zilliqa said it hired investigators after X-Bridge complaints. Le Coin's Protocols & Policy piece walks the bridge's single listed validator and about $845,000 in withdrawals on one Ethereum block. A companion infrastructure piece groups that disclosure with CoinDCX's retired-wallet loss and a Keystone store exposure under the pattern of old keys and open doors. [5]
