Securitize (NYSE: SECZ) on Oct. 28 announced plans to integrate with the Stellar network for issuance and management of tokenized financial assets, timed with Meridian 2026; no specific asset or product is named yet.
Securitize, Inc. (NYSE: SECZ) on Oct. 28 announced plans to integrate with the Stellar network so it can support the issuance and management of tokenized financial assets on that chain, according to a Securitize-sourced press release hosted on Stellar.org [1]. The announcement was made in conjunction with Meridian 2026, the Stellar Development Foundation's annual conference in Lisbon [1]. No specific fund, security, or ticker is named for Stellar support today; the release says additional details about assets supported through the integration will be announced as they become available [1].
Tokenized financial assets, in this context, means securities or similar products issued and administered as blockchain tokens rather than only as traditional book-entry shares [1]. The release says the planned Stellar link would let Securitize issue and manage those products on a network designed for financial transactions and asset transfers, extending what Securitize calls its multichain approach for institutional asset managers [1]. In the same text, Stellar is described as supporting asset issuance, fast settlement, and features meant for regulated use cases; the integration is framed as broadening the set of chains Securitize can support as institutional tokenization demand develops [1].
On its own X account at about 6:11 a.m. ET, Securitize described Stellar as "the 17th network we support," a company claim that does not appear in the press text [2]. @StellarOrg confirmed the integration announcement about four minutes earlier and linked the same press page [3].
Carlos Domingo, Co-Founder and CEO of Securitize, said the Stellar network "has built the fourth-largest ecosystem for tokenized real-world assets," and that Securitize wants to bring its regulated infrastructure to that ecosystem [1]. That ranking is Domingo's and the company's framing; it is not independently verified in this pack [1].
Denelle Dixon, CEO and Executive Director of the Stellar Development Foundation, said Securitize "has helped establish tokenization as a practical solution for major financial institutions," and that the parties aim to expand infrastructure available to asset managers for the next generation of tokenized financial products on Stellar [1].
Securitize's About boilerplate in the same release puts approximately $5 billion in tokenized securities on its platform as of September 30, 2026, and lists Apollo, BlackRock, BNY, Hamilton Lane, KKR, VanEck and others as clients it works with [1]. Those names describe Securitize's platform relationships; they are not named as co-announcers of this Stellar integration [1].
Stellar's RWA momentum is already in the same week's tape: Janus Henderson and Centrifuge on Oct. 27 launched JQQQ, a licensed Nasdaq-100 blockchain-native fund exclusive on Stellar. That is a separate product story, not this planned Securitize rail.
This is a planned integration, not a live product launch. The press forward-looking statements say the integration may be delayed, changed, or not completed [1]. The release does not name a first asset, a go-live date, or a fee schedule for Stellar support [1]. Securitize's own site press paths returned 404 on this pack's pull, and the investor-relations hub showed no Stellar or Meridian item yet, so the public primary for quotes and legal language today is the Stellar-hosted Securitize-sourced release plus the company and foundation X posts [1][2][3].
In Le Coin's view, the tell is whether Securitize publishes a named first asset or product line with disclosed eligibility and operational rules on Stellar, and whether that integration shows up as a checkable live sleeve rather than a Meridian-week plan [1]. A second tell is whether the company restates the "17th network" count and the "fourth-largest" RWA-ecosystem claim against a filing or independent ranking after announcement day [1][2]. Until then, the record is Oct. 28 plans only.
