The plumbing behind stablecoins and tokenized securities kept expanding on Friday: Circle opened an hourly auction for institutional USDC minting and redemption, and tZERO signed on to run Temple Digital's tokenized-securities venue. Leveraged traders were forced out on both sides, with $207.1M of crypto positions liquidated over 24 hours and at least $105.3M more on metals, stock and energy contracts.

tZERO said Temple Digital Group has engaged tZERO Securities, an SEC-registered broker-dealer, to operate as broker-dealer and alternative trading system for Temple's tokenized-securities trading platform on the Canton Network; the companies said implementation is pending and launch timing will be announced separately.
Circle said it launched Circle Match for eligible Circle Mint customers, an hourly auction that pairs institutional USDC mint and redemption orders, with matched minters receiving the clearing fee as a rebate and redeemers paying no more than Circle's Express rate.
Dune said tokenized stocks and ETFs traded more than $37 billion onchain in the third quarter of 2026, with monthly volume up almost 18 times since January, in an Oct. 22 release announcing its new Market Data Feeds product; the figures are company-reported and Le Coin has not verified them.
INTERPOL said police in 21 countries arrested 1,462 suspects and recovered more than $105 million in illicit funds in Operation Serengeti III, a cybercrime sweep in Africa from June 29 to Aug. 31 that mainly targeted fraud, ransomware and online scams; crypto was one strand, with investigators in Angola dismantling two illegal cryptocurrency mining centres and seizing more than 2,000 mining devices.
Lido said a new version of its Community Staking Module, 0x02 CSM, is live, letting independent operators run validators with a maximum effective balance of up to 2,048 ETH alongside the existing 32-ETH version, in a post on its official X account.

Ascend Markets and M1X Global said they completed the first institutional repurchase agreement on the Stellar network, using USDM1, a Marshall Islands sovereign bond secured by short-dated US Treasuries, as collateral, with 72 automated hourly rolls between Oct. 16 and Oct. 19, according to their release.
